I made this worksheet to incorporate the fall theme with same/different:

Fall leaves

I started the month with all of my students painting their own fall leaf. Try folding the leaves in half while the paint is still wet to add a cool leaf texture. I hung up my students' leaves, and I will let them take it home at the end of the month. 

October Themes

The theme for October is FALL! This includes fall leaves and fall harvest.
The other areas that I will be focusing on this month include:
Letters: E, F, G, H.
Sight words: you, can, see.
Same and different.
Writing numbers 1-5.
